A504 Clear Opaque Base is a water-based clear base manufactured to be colored with water-based pigments to achieve a wide range of shades. It is particularly suitable for producing dark colors such as black, navy blue, red, and similar tones. The base provides good opacity when printing dark shades onto dark fabrics. However, it is not recommended for printing light shades on dark fabrics unless white ink is added to enhance opacity and brightness. In general, for dark fabric printing, a white underbase is strongly recommended to achieve optimal results.
